1 year...it makes 1 year now that the shadow circle project has been started. At that time i wasn't ever thinking that i would spend so much time on it, and that it would evolve in what it is now. I had so much good time doing it that the journey will of course continue. Also an easter surprise is going to be made on Monday, so stay tuned !
Shadowcircle 2: blue lagoon alpha comes Next week.

When we made the roadmap for the second version of shadowcircle, we deeply though "oh, we will be way late for sure". But as surprising as it may be, this is not the case. We expected a first release for mid february, and you'll have it ;). a Few minor modifications have been done to the spec but nothing huge. Again here are the main 2.0 features: lucid lynx fork ( no more bt ) , xfce 4.6, firefox 3.5, OpenVAS 3, metasploit 3.4, nmap 5...

Like every year fosdem gratifies us with a great event, full of interesting talks and interesting people to talk with. And beyond this, attending fosdem is a real sport. Trust me, running from conference to conference , still drunk because of the last night party, while giving close attention to the speakers is kinda like a triathlon, yet a lot more fun. My fav conferences were the nmap scripting engine introduction and MySQL clustering solutions overview.
Also the shadowcircle lightening talk went fine, except that your fellow speaker was a little nervous ;) a video of the talk should come pretty soon.Special mention to to the perl community guys who were awesome, and the reprap booth that was really cool.
